Some people make the analogy that the brain is like a computer Mine might be more like jello with little tiny wook-a-lars and elves slogging through the goo, plugging wires in and willy-nilly, unplugging them. Certainly they have made a mess of the wooden file cabinets that store my memories and have tossed the files askance without regard to alphabetization or any semblance of order.
